Ya no existen en estos tiempos personas con el espíritu aventurero de estos pioneros del siglo antepasado. Es increíble leer por todo lo que pasaron en sus vidas desde jóvenes y el amor y la pasión que este célebre Selous tuvo para vivir todos las aventuras por las tuvo que pasar y regresar una y otra vez a Africa.
Muy interesante todas sus aventuras de cacerías y la frialdad que tenía para adentrarse en las oscuridades de Africa.
Millais barely scratches the surface of the remarkable accomplishments of Frederick Selous. I intend to look elsewhere for a more thorough biography of one of the best examples of the enlightened English colonial in Africa.

Excellent for lovers of classic Africana written in classic style with excerpts by Roosevelt and others. Overall an excellent read

It was a boring read. I ended up not even finishing it because it was so dull
This is in the third person about a boy. The boy is Selous but if you didn't know this, you would just think of it as fictional.
Not the type of reading I was looking for.
